Main Slipway

Our main slipway is one of the very few on the East Coast, capable of handling vessels up to 80 ft in length (dependant on draft). Ideal for barges and larger flat-bottomed vessels, the slip can easily handle deeper drafted keelboats.

Regular customers include the Orfordness ferry "Guinevere" and the restaurant cruise vessel "Lady Florence" who perform annual maintenance on this slip.

Slipping rates may be considered very competetive in comparison to hoisting which may be difficult to find for vessels over 50t displacement.

Slipping & Launching package is charged at £5.95 per foot (excluding VAT)
(Some vessels may inur an additional charge of £20 per day)

Pressure washing is charged at £1.20 per foot and at an hourly rate for vessels over 40 feet
